Chaired and organized the first ever Southeastern Human Factors Applied Research Conference (SHARC), which had over 100 attendees and 60 poster submissions by graduate and undergraduate students interested in Human Factors
Secured over $6000 in funding from the HFES National Chapter, NC State's Student Government Association, a sponsorship by the American Psychological Association's 21st Division, as well as revenue from ticket sales
Invited a keynote presentation from Dr. Nancy Currie-Gregg, NASA Astronaut
Invited additional speakers from Google X, Microsoft, John Deere, and the U.S. Navy's Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division
